At ABC, value diversity and we believe teaching acceptance, compassion and tolerance provide the foundation needed to help children grow into caring adults.

It is normal human nature to fear things you haven’t seen or do not understand. Our approach to combat this issue has been to invite many beautiful unique people to our preschool. The children are allowed and encouraged to ask our guests many questions and visit with them. This community approach takes the mystery and fear away and lets the children see past the wheelchair, crutches, cane and instead see the person.

Another important aspect of ABC is encouraging children and families to come share with us their culture, and special traditions. The children will learn that there is much difference between us, but that those differences only make us all special.
